Access:
On the highway between Dale and Bulken, take the Hornaberg exit on the eastern end of lake Hamlagrøvatnet. Drive down to the parking and park there.

The trail:

Walk up a gated road, and at the gate, go right. The trail begins at the end of the road. Walk 2km to Torfinnsheim tourist hut by lake Torfinnsvatnet on a "T" marked trail. The walk takes about an hour and the trail ascends 300m. At the hut, take the left trail and climb up to Kustadfjøra (1037m). Continue along the T-marked trail, and at Rasmusen (1163m), exit the trail, go left (north), pass Slåttebakkahorgi (1201m) and walk along dozens of small lakes before you get to Grønahorgi. From Grønahorgi, walk back over Godeplasseggi and Tjørnahorgi (1047m) back to the Torfinnsheim hut (1-2 hours hike).

Notes:
All sorts of hiking possibilities, really. Once you're up here. I guess total hiking time for this trip is 3-4 hours, all depending. In September, there was no snow at this altitude. Good view towards Voss.
