Introduction

Tunheimshornet is a nice viewpoint above Fiskå, located by Syltefjorden - a branch of Vanylvsfjorden. A well worn path runs up from Ytre Tunheim, and you'll reach the top within half an hour or so.

From the top, you'll have a good view towards Storebøra and the surrounding mountains, as well as the mountains south of Syltefjorden.

Access

(all distances are approx. distances)

The nearest larger city is Ålesund. From Ålesund, follow highway E39 towards Bergen, and then RV61 towards Hareid. Take the Sulesund - Hareid ferry, and from Hareid, follow RV61 (roughly) 42Km to Årvika, 5,1km from Larsnes.

Take the Årvika - Koparneset ferry, and follow RV61 13,1km (don't take the road to Syvde!). The Fiskå junction is now on your right-hand side. Continue 1,5km on RV61 and find parking on a turnout on the left-hand side of the road. This is 350m after the petrol station you've just passed (at least, there was a petrol station in March 2009).
