First snow in Bergen, Oct 2002. Two hikes to Ulriken, 643m

These pictures are from Oct 19 when the snow came, and Oct 20, when the snow had settled. As this is written (Oct 21), a low pressure is on the way, and most of the snow is expected to vanish within days.

More than anything, should these pictures illustrate the sudden shift in weather on the western coast of Norway. If you leave your windjacket home, thinking it's gonna be a lovely day, you could be in for a surprise.
