Our route to 權asstinden

6 years after visiting 權asstinden for the first time (with my former dog Troll), I was back again. This time with Arngeir (www.haramfjell.com) and my new dog Karma. We did this as an afternoon hike from H鷤ebakken. We met there and headed out 5:35pm. The fog was coming and going and we had some hopes that we could get some views from the summit.
We followed the path up between the two Kuven tops and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon. It was also nice to hike with Arngeir again. It's been a while since we did a hike together.

We met 3 hikers coming down the mountain and had a quick chat with the last one. He could not promise fog-lift. But we had no complaints regarding the view towards the peaks separating Langedalen from Romedalen;

We missed the optimal route just before the summit and struggled with getting Karma around a corner. After a couple of minutes, Karma was safely across and we climbed on top of 權asstinden at 7:25pm - 1h:50m after heading out. The views were limited but at least we could see ... something ... out there.

After a short stay on top, we headed back down. Arngeir had a long way home (Haram). We found the correct route and I had no difficulties with Karma.

We descended along our ascent route and were back on H鷤ebakken 8:57pm. Arngeir decided to go for the 9:15pm ferry from Fest鼜a and made it. He even passed - legally - a Police laser control at Nordre Vartdal...
