Not much to report from this hike. After work in Ulsteinvik, I headed up to Leikongeidet and drove back and forth for a while, trying to figure out where to park and where to go. Finally I decided just to head across the construction site. No workers were present.
The dog and I left the trailhead 16:15PM. The weather was gloomy. I was gloomy, and when the construction road ended, the dog got gloomy too. For such a short hike, I didn't bother to put him in the backpack, and carried him under my arm. There is an upside to this type of transport. Within minutes, the dog is suddenly all willing to walk again.
Yup, it didn't take long this time either, and the vague path was just wide and worn enough for my little buddy. We reached the top 16:40PM, after taking it SLOW. This has to be one of my shortest hikes to a new top. The views weren't all that great because of the weather, and we turned around pretty fast. We were back at the trailhead 17:00PM, and it was time to head back to Ålesund.
