This was my second stop on my "island-hopping" project this Saturday. My dog "Troll" and I had just been to Signalen on Valderøya. I liked Molnes immediately. It was a typical rough-spot along the coastline, and the wind was certainly notable.
We passed a kine of cows, which perhaps is usual out here in the month of February? I guess the snow blows away, the second it touches ground. It took us 15-20 minutes to the top, which was a *really* windy spot. Free will was not to be taken for granted, and I had to lie down in order to keep the camera somewhat steady.
Instead of roaming around, Troll was sitting in the same spot throughout the summit stay. I discovered that he has learned the expression "shall we go home", because he was on the way down the mountain after "shall". It had been raining on the way to Vigra, and it was raining when we left Vigra, but it didn't rain when we were on top. The same thing happened on Valderøya, and I wondered if we would be lucky on our third stop for the day - Kverveaksla on Ellingsøya.
