Access:
Take highway E16 north fro Bergen.
Cross Nordhordalandsbrua (over the Osterfjord. The toll fare is currently NOK 45,-).
At Knarvik, exit onto highway 565 towards Manger/Fosnøy. Continue north-west
on this road until you get to Lunde. There are few signs to orientate from, but after
Lunde, highway 565 turns west through a number of curves before it turns south
towards Kurtveit, at the south end of lake Hallandsvatnet.
(Where 565 turns west, another road continues north-west and crosses the lake further
north). Park the car at the south end of the lake.
Notes:
I did not take notes on this trip, and my memory of the hike is a little
short. But I do remember taking a shortcut from Morkefjellet straight
down to the car. That was a bad idea, and I ended up ass-sliding most
of the way down. It is hard to believe that a mountain this low can have
such a steep side.

The trail:
A trail begins at the south end of lake Hallandsvatnet, and follows the lake
northbound all the way until it hits the other road described above.
Halfway (just about) up the lake, another trail runs up to the forest (left)
and Y-forks with a trail to Nøttveitveten. Follow the trail southbound
to Morkefjellet.
