On this overcast Sunday, Anne and me drove to Leikanger to visit Smørklett - a forest hill that none of us had visited before. The vertical ascent from the Eggjane trailhead (approx. 300m) would be roughly 500 meters, which was more than enough for me - hardly able to stand upright after kayak trip the day before. Getting older is a drag!
Parts of the forest was a bit cumbersome due to a recent hurricane, but other than that, it was a nice and easy hike. My back was getting warmed up during the ascent, and I was able to have big fun with snow (!) on top...

The hike was 7,4km altogether and took us 2h:55m. Next stop was Sogndal and wait for the Spain - Italy UEFA final to begin!!!
